STRUCTURAL CONCRETE REPAIR
POST- TENSIONED ANCHOR POCKETS

ANZ Stadium

Spiral Ramp Concrete Repairs: The stressing pockets in the outer edges of the concrete slabs in each of the 4 spiral ramps were deteriorating and in need of renovation or replacement. There are approximately 230 pockets in each quadrant and an engineer was requested to prepare a specification for the renovation of these stressing pockets and assist in resolving a procedure for the identification of those pockets that needed to be repaired.

After a review of the Engineers report it was deemed appropriate to replace all the PT pockets in every quadrant for the safety of the public and durability of the structure.
SlabTec through consultation with the Client and Engineer proposed the use of the BASF Masterbrace concrete repair system because of its suitability to provide a remedial solution that was compatible with the structures requirement for the next 20yrs.
